Second Week Homework:

  1. Read through all lessons and practice exercises. Ask any questions you may have about the lesson in the Bulletin Board
  2. Use the Class Sample Old Photos or one of your own to demonstrate the various steps you would take to repair and clarify damaged photos. Explain several of the steps and display some of the individual repairs.
  3. Use Class Examples or one of your own to show photo manipulation with removing an element or placing it in a new location and then complete the enhancement process as in Lessons 2-3 and 2-4.
  4. Practice various ways of colorizing photos and/or graphics. Include an explanation of the processes used as well as before and after examples.

Extra Credit: (Optional)

  • Use a photo or graphic to combine repair, enhancement and colorizing techniques using any combination of tools from both weeks of this class. Explain the combination of tools and techniques used. You may use the Castle photo offered on this page if you wish.
