Homework - Week 4

Assignment

1. Construct a script (either the Drop Shadow screen we wrote in the lesson, or one of your own construction.) You can offer it to your classmates for download if you choose, but bear in mind the "script ethics chat" we had in the lesson. Please make all scripts that you choose to share "Restricted" for this class.

Here is my back yard photo again, using my new script which I've called h5button. You must make a selection before running the script. The script applies a 10 pixel buttonize effect, then a 5,5 black shadow, then adjust,contrast, auto contrast. Works great on photos, see below, so set off an area you might want to highlight. Makes a definite "button" on square or rectangular areas, but gives an offset look to any other irregular shape. 2. Investigate the Bound Scripts option. You aren't required to use it but know it's there!
I made the lesson script and my script both bound scripts as I think I may use them quite a bit. 3. Check out Pixelnook and PSP-X.com for good scripts, links in the lesson above.
