Assignment
1. Create a masked image which duplicates the channel-splitting technique shown in the first part of the lesson. This would work well on any landscape image with a lot of lighter sky area.

 Using another image out my back door, I like the more vivid colors after splitting and masking this photo. It was taken just at sunrise and was too dark to see the "color" of the trees.
2. Recreate a couple of the masked portrait images from above. You may use those images or some of your own choice.
 I like the "lacey" look of just the mask over the image. Just used shades of rose for the gradient fill in the background.
 Used one of Sonja's photos for the image in this one, cropped to fit.
 Butterfly masked picture redone per Sonja's suggestion. Manual Color Correction tool to change the hue of the mask to more of a coral-pink, then used the brightness/contrast function to make it a little more vivid, changed the gradient behind it to the same colors and added a slight drop shadow, just to the top layer. What do you think?
