![]() Homework - Week 1Assignment1. Create a multi-layered photo composite as we did in the first exercise. Feel free to use your own photos in the bottles, and experiment as much as you like. (If you use your own photos, you may discover you have to do some judicious cropping first to get them to align properly in the bottles. A hint - copy the bottles image to a new layer over the photos you want to use first, lower the opacity and try to align the photo area with the bottle so you have a good idea how to crop the image.) ![]() Using the green bottle layered image that came with PSP7, deleting the non-bottle layers, then using that as my mask, I created a "building in a bottle". Photo in the bottle from a photo CD, background taken out my back door with a "created" table. 2. Create one or two photo border masks that can be shared with classmates. Experiment with the various brush tools and effects while in Edit Selection mode to get different edge effects. You can zip up the mask files and offer them on your Web site for download if you like. ![]() My back door photo again, masked as per the lesson, with a slight drop shadow added to the masked layer. ![]() Just trying a little more editing of the selection and liked the effects. My photo of some trees by the building where I work. Just used the round brush to edge it, then a little more into the corners, and also applied the warp brush with a smaller diameter.
